In 6 June 2017 QFM organized the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the occupation of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa, where it held an extensive meeting of members of the "Save Al-Quds" campaign, which included heads and representatives of a wide range of Malaysian institutions and actors. The meeting discussed ways to repel the aggression on the Aqsa Mosque and the necessity of solidarity of the Muslims and the free world with him so as not to fall prey to the occupation. During the meeting, the participants deplored the statements made by Palestinian Authority official Jibril Rajoub, in which he surrendered the Wailing Wall and called for the boycott of the occupation a practical response on its crimes, as well as increase the solidarity with Al-Quds in the face of occupation and Judaization.

"Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque are at the heart of the conflict with the occupation, and in dire need of mobilizing all political, material and media efforts on the issue of Jerusalem so that it remains alive and well," said Sheriff Abu Shammala, head of the QFM and coordinator of Save Al-Quds.

He added that the measures that accompanied the celebration of the Zionist entity occupation of Al-Quds and the displacement of a section of its population and the destruction of their homes, but aimed in its entirety to seize the Al-Aqsa Mosque to proceed with plans to divide.

"Save Al-Quds" campaign issued a statement signed by representatives of 34 Malaysian institutions, in which they stressed the need to save the city of Al-Quds and defend it against the Zionist measures against it.

It should be noted that the campaign "Save Al-Quds" was established in late 2014 to defend Al Murabiteen in Al-Aqsa, and to provide support and support the popular and political people of the city steadfast in the face of attempts to empty out the city and Judaize. The campaign organized a number of solidarity events with Al-Quds and Almurabiteen, such as the demonstration in front of the US Embassy, ​​handing over notes to the UN office and other activities of a collective nature.
