A Palestinian young man was shot and killed early Thursday by Israeli forces in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the Ramallah-based Palestinian Health Ministry has reported.

The Health Ministry said it received news from the Civil Liaison about the young man’s death after he was gunned down by the occupation forces in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) city.

Israeli forces fired bullets at Majd Jamal Mteir from Qalandia refugee camp and left him bleeding for around 40 minutes, before he breathed his last.

The casualty allegedly stabbed two Israeli soldiers in the area. His death was announced via the loudspeakers of a local mosque in Qalandiya.

Sometime earlier, Israeli occupation forces rounded up scores of Palestinians from Al-Quds (Jerusalem) in raids at their family homes.

A few hours earlier, 29-year-old Saleh Omar Barghouti and Ashraf Na’luwa were assassinated by the Israeli military at dawn Thursday following a military operation targeting anti-occupation attackers.
