Army Injures Seventeen Palestinians In Nablus

Israeli soldiers injured, Friday, at least seventeen Palestinians with live fire and rubber-coated steel bullets, and caused many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, in several areas of Nablus governorate, in northern West Bank.

Ahmad Jibreel, the head of the Emergency Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), said the medics provided the needed treatment to seven Palestinians who were shot with live rounds, and rubber-coated steel bullets, in addition to many others who suffered the severe effects of teargas inhalation.

The Palestinians were protesting in near Huwwara military roadblock, south of Nablus, in addition to the towns of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, Orif and Beita.

Two Palestinians, who were shot with live rounds al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, were rushed to Salfit Governmental Hospital, and six others were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, and received the needed treatment, while one of them was hospitalized.

Furthermore, two Palestinians, who were injured by fragments from Israeli bullets, were moved to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, and seven others were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets.

One of the wounded Palestinians was also hospitalized after being shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet in his eye.

At least nine other Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, and received the needed treatment.

Many Palestinians also suffered the effects of teargas inhalation in Orif and Beita, and several others suffered cuts and bruises.
