At least 51 Jewish occupation settlers, including intelligence officers, on Monday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under tight police protection.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Authority in Occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the Israeli police allowed 38 settlers to defile the Aqsa Mosque and perform rituals near Bab al-Rahma.

13 intelligence officers in uniform also toured the Mosque’s courtyards in the morning.

Meanwhile, Israeli policemen rounded up Aqsa guard Samer Abu Quwaider and took him to one of its centers in the Old City for interrogation.

The Israeli police recently banished dozens of Aqsa guards and Awqaf officials from the Aqsa Mosque after detaining and interrogating them after they opened the Bab al-Rahma area of the Aqsa Mosque.
