According to local sources, the Israeli police interrogated Ahmad al-Shawish and Mohammed Jamjoum for hours on Friday before they decided to banish them from al-Aqsa Mosque for 14 days.

Al-Shawish and Jamjoum will have to pay a bail if they violate the deportation conditions, the sources said.

The Israeli police over the past month have banned over 130 Palestinians, including Aqsa guards, Awqf employees, activists, and Jerusalem notables, from entering al-Aqsa Mosque for different periods after the opening of Bab al-Rahma area.
