The Israeli occupation forces have said that the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil will be closed for two days to Palestinian worshipers to make way for the Passover celebrations on Monday and Tuesday.

Sheikh Hefzi Abu Sneineh, who is in charge of the Ibrahimi Mosque's affairs, said that the closure is a blatant and provocative violation of the Muslims' right to reach their places of worship.

The Ibrahimi Mosque is located in the Israeli-controlled Old City in al-Khalil. About 400 Israeli settlers live there guarded by over 1,500 soldiers.
