Palestinian medical crews on Monday were able to recover the bodies of two Palestinians killed in an Israeli airstrike on Beit Lahia town in the northern area of the Gaza Strip.

Gaza's Ministry of Health said that the married couple Talal Abu al-Jedian and Raghda Abu al-Jedian were found dead under the rubble of their apartment which was bombed by Israeli warplanes on Sunday.

Death toll in Gaza climbed to 27, including two pregnant women and three infants, while at least 170 civilians were injured.
