Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained a number of Palestinian young men for trying to reach the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) to attend the Friday congregation.

Eyewitnesses told Quds Press that the IOF tightened military measures in the vicinity of the holy city and on roadblocks between it and the West Bank.

They said that the Israeli troops forced a number of Palestinians to return back home and arrested a number of youths while attempting to cross into Occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) for the Friday prayer at the pretext of not having permits.

The Israeli occupation authorities ban the entry into Al-Quds (Jerusalem) of Palestinians less than 40 years old unless they have prior permits that should be provided by the Israeli intelligence.
