Settlers broke into Al-Aqsa

Hundreds of Jewish settlers on Sunday morning broke into, in groups, the plazas of al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli-controlled al-Maghareba gate under protection of Israeli police and Special Forces in coincidence with the Passover celebrations.

The PIC reporter pointed out that the incursion of large numbers of settlers who stormed the holy site in one hour only coincided with settlers flocking to al-Buraq Wall to celebrate the Jewish Passover amid tightened security measures.

The police are going to close Bab al-Asbat area, block traffic before Palestinians and prevent them from accessing Wadi Helweh and al-Magharebah gate south of al-Aqsa Mosque.

The closure is expected to be imposed from Sunday to Thursday evening, the eve of Passover, the PIC reporter said.
