To address the urgent needs of displaced families in Northern Gaza, Al-Quds Foundation Malaysia has launched an important project to renovate and prepare a local school as a safe temporary shelter. Due to the ongoing situation, hundreds of thousands of families have been forced to seek refuge in public buildings like schools, which are not designed for extended stays, leading to overcrowding and limited resources.

This project focuses on enhancing living conditions by improving essential facilities. Key upgrades include repairing bathrooms, installing partitions to increase privacy, and restoring water systems to ensure continuous access to clean water. Additionally, classrooms and a prayer area are being prepared to support communal activities and foster a sense of solidarity among the displaced.

Through the support of Al-Quds Foundation Malaysia, this initiative aims to provide a safer, more dignified environment for approximately 2,600 displaced individuals, offering them immediate relief and a renewed sense of stability.
