Dozens of Israeli settlers on Saturday stormed Burqa village in Nablus and attacked Palestinian houses.

Anti-settlement activist Ghassan Daghlas said that a group of Israeli settlers hurled stones at Palestinian homes in Burqa, while the village's residents took to the streets to confront the attack.

Daghlas said that the settlers sneaked into the northern area of the village coming from Homesh settlement which was evacuated in 2005.

He pointed out that Israeli settlers visit Homesh on a regular basis to plan attacks against the Palestinians and gradually prepare for a return to the evacuated post.

Israel had built nearly 427 settler outposts covering about 46% of the West Bank area. These outposts are inhabited by 700,000 Israeli settlers who carry out almost daily attacks against the Palestinians.
